Earthwork and excavation activities have been finalized, while finishing and slope stabilization are ongoing. The intervention aims to reduce silt inflow into downstream irrigation channels and the Moragahakanda reservoir, enhancing long-term water storage efficiency.
Field Observation:
The structure is nearing completion with proper compaction and channel alignment observed during inspection. Local farmers have expressed positive feedback on expected improvements in paddy land irrigation reliability.
